Bikitsha is in Kampala, Uganda to find about the economic opportunities there as a part of the Africa Connected project.

Nikiwe Bikitsha says urban farming has the potential to be Uganda's success story if investments are made in technology, infrastructure, and logistics.

Chatting to Xolani Gwala, she explained that agriculture is the biggest sector in Uganda, with 60% of east African most arable land.

Bikitsha spoke with an urban farmer and former agriculture minister Victoria Sekitoleko, who is leading the way for sustainable farming.

Nikiwe also visited Victoria Sekitoleko, former Agriculture minister of Uganda. She gave Nikiwe a tour of her garden, where she has planted a wide array of fruit and vegetables.

She's passionate about Agriculture which is the mainstay of this economy. Sekitoleko says whoever feeds you, controls you and with all its natural riches, Africa must and should feed itself.
